A teen pregnancy in the real life is a very complicated thing. It’s a hot mess of surprises, worries, difficult decisions and mean judgments that could make anyone go crazy. But, people do manage to find their light at the end of the tunnel; and if it’s possible for one person, it’s possible for many, right?

The Sims 4, being a simulation of the real life, is always trying to catch up to that complexity, but at times it falls short. Such is the case when it comes to teen pregnancy, which by the way isn’t too rare in today’s modern society. So, the people turn to mods and CC to accommodate their gameplay and make it as realistic as it can be. Well, Darkpool’s mod offers you a chance to play through a teen pregnancy. With it, your teen Sims can get pregnant, go through all the different phases and give birth to one, two or more beautiful babies. So, if you feel ready to spice the lives of your teens, then let’s begin with explaining the mod!

The Teen Pregnancy Mod: an Overview

Here there are equal pregnancy options for teens and for adults! So, while your teen Sim is pregnant, everything will flow the same as with your adult Sims. This means that your teen will go through the three standard trimesters, experience all the moodlets and finally deliver a healthy baby.

You will also be able to dictate the speed of the pregnancy, to choose which stage to be in, to reveal the gender of the baby through a scan. All the rest of the interactions work normally too and the child will age as all the other children. For the most part, the mod works very well and it’s definitely worth your time if this feature is an absolute necessity for you!

Getting Pregnant

“Try for Baby with” is an option for any of your teen Sims who are in a romantic relationship. Now, if you don’t know already, two Sims cannot try for a baby right away. Their relationship or marriage has to be a bit matured and the bar filled to at least 40% or 50%. To do this faster, it definitely helps for a Sim to have a charisma or some sweet love aspirations. The rest is the usual: flirting, pickup lines, appearance compliments.

Once you get to this point, go and try for a baby! As always, the pregnancy odds in The Sims 4 are pretty high, but that still doesn’t mean that it will happen on the first try. You might have to go for a couple of times before your teen girl will be eating for two.

Fertility traits definitely help to increase these odds, so don’t hesitate to use some achievement points to increase it on both of your Sims. Plus, if you want more than one baby, like twins or triplets for examples, the fertility levels also influence whether the girl will carry one, two or more kids in her belly.

Players have funnily suggested that trying for a baby in a hot tub has a 100% success chance, but since we don’t know what triggers it, we cannot confirm it for sure. But why not check for yourself and give it a go? And when your girl is pregnant, the rest is done normally.

Visual Glitches and Problems

Something that you will quickly notice as well are the two main visual glitches that appear when using this mod:

• There is no pregnant belly/ or the pregnant belly won’t disappear. The Sim can go through the whole pregnancy without showing any visual evidence that she is pregnant, since her belly won’t grow ever. Or if it does grow, sometimes it can stay after the birth too! For some players this might be interesting, but since it’s not realistic, some find it annoying.
• The baby is randomly generated. The mod works randomly when it comes to the baby’s genetics. When the baby is born, the chances that it will match its parents are pretty low. We are talking a totally different skin tone, eye color and face shapes, ethnicity and race as well.

However, these are just minor annoyances that are easily fixable through the Full Edit mode. Whenever they appear in your game, just go through cas.fulleditmode and fix the looks of the pregnant Sim or baby however you want.

How to Use The Sims 4 Pregnancy Mod

All the mods provided below have the same installation instruction.

• Download your favorite sims 4 Pregnancy mod
• Extract the content of the mod folder in your PC
• Copy the content of the mod folder to the sims 4 Mod directory
• Default location : My Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Launch the game and go to the settings > Others tab
• Enable script mod option
• Restart the game and enjoy

The Sims 4 Teen Pregnancy Mod

To get the sims 4 mods teen pregnancy you are gonna need two things for this, one is MC command center and the other thing you must download is MC woohoo which is a part of MC Command Center. You need to download both and put them in your game.

For any of the above-listed mods downloaded, UnZIP the files and place them into your mod folder. That’s it!!

If you have to make this mod work, you have to restart your game while doing this. Put the mods in the Sims 4 MOD folder and open the game. Make sure to save your all work before doing this.

Once you are in the game you need to have a computer. Once you have the MC command center installed it will go to the MC Command center pop up menu. Click the menu, this will open a pop-up window. Now scroll down and select MC woohoo Actions and you’re going to allow teens and press Enable. Note: A game restart is required for changed settings.

In the computer window press again the MC command center and MC woohoo, and press woohoo pregnancy.

In the woohoo pregnancy you will see a bunch of different options.

• Risky woohoo percent
• Use fertility in risky
• Try for baby percent
• Same-sex pregnancy sim
• Opposite sex pregnancy sim

Choose any of the above options as you desire. For pregnancy mods sims 4 select risky woohoo percent.

You can change the percentage means you have a 10 percent chance of getting pregnant, 50 percent of getting pregnant, or if you want it to happen all the time. Especially if you are doing a machinima or you are doing some sort of LP.

Now go ahead and put 100% and then click okay. Save your game now in the general menu and restart. Now select a bed and press “woohoo with”. select your teen partner name both male and female and let them have fun.

Make sure to dim the light in order to speed up the process. Once your sims are done having FUN go ahead and select the bathroom pregnancy test. And congratulation your sims are expecting someone additional to your household.
